This is one of my favourite drinks for those mornings where your body feels like it needs a kickstart! The sesame creates a smooth creaminess, the maca and lucuma adds a depth of sweet caramel, and the pepper hints a little kick at the end. I add a few drops of stevia for some added sweetness, this is optional depending on your preference.
Sesame seeds are a great option as a base for a smoothie, as they create a light, fluffy consistency when blended with water. Sesame seeds are incredibly high in copper, manganese, calcium and iron so it is a great option for growing children!
